This website is a static site. There is no user account system and no customer database behind it. Nothing you type into a form on this site is uploaded to a server by the website itself.

How Royal Car Rentals handles the personal information you share with us when you enquire about a rental or a car for sale.

Draft wording. These terms are a working draft prepared for Royal Car Rentals. Royal must review, adjust and approve the final wording — including any amounts, fees and timeframes — before publication. Anything marked “to be confirmed by Royal” has not been fixed yet and is agreed in writing with each customer at the time of booking.
2. What happens when you use a form
The booking and enquiry forms run entirely in your browser. When you press the button, your details are formatted into a message and your device opens WhatsApp or your email app with that message ready to send. You decide whether to send it. Until you do, we receive nothing.
3. Information we receive
Once you contact us, we receive the details you chose to include — typically your name, phone or WhatsApp number, optional email address, rental dates, pickup and drop-off locations, passenger numbers and any notes.
If you go on to rent a vehicle, we additionally collect the documents required for a rental agreement, such as a driving licence and identification. The exact document list is confirmed by Royal at booking.
4. Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, confirm availability, prepare a quote, complete a rental agreement or a vehicle sale, and to meet legal, insurance and tax obligations in Rwanda. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated profiling.
5. Where your message is stored
Messages you send us live in the channel you used — WhatsApp, your phone network or our email inbox — and are subject to those providers’ own privacy policies. Rental agreements and sale records are kept in Royal’s own business records. Retention periods are to be confirmed by Royal in line with Rwandan accounting and tax rules.
6. Third parties
The site loads web fonts from Google Fonts and can display an embedded Google Map on the contact page; both are provided by Google and may record your IP address. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We do not run advertising trackers. Royal to confirm before any analytics tool is added.
7. Local storage in your browser
We store one small preference in your browser: the currency you selected (USD or RWF). It stays on your device and identifies nobody.
8. Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to royalcarsinfo@gmail.com or calling +250 782 536 970. We may need to keep records that Rwandan law requires us to retain.
